TSNE
Tri-Ess is a national association of and for crossdressers, their spouses/significant others and families, focused on "affirming crossdressers and their partners and in supporting their social needs and their desire to improve themselves in the fine art of crossdressing" [quoted from the home Tri-Ess website]. Its aim is to unite crossdressers in their pursuit of self-acceptance of their condition, achieving a balance between their masculine and feminine selves and integrating their crossdressing into their lives in communion with their families.
The Tri-Ess New England (TSNE) chapter was founded in November 1999 by Gerri Buchanan, with about a dozen initial members. Formed originally for New England-area heterosexual crossdressers, it expanded in scope upon the folding of the New Hampshire-based transgender group GT North, offering a place for all gender-gifted individuals. However, those seeking support on primarily transsexual issues are referred to groups such as the Waltham, Mass.-based Tiffany Club (see the Resources page).
TSNE was created as the Tau Sigma Nu Epsilon chapter, and operates under a defined set of bylaws (click here to view) established in accordance with Tri-Ess guidelines (see the group acceptance letter from a member of the Tri-Ess Board of Directors). Tri Ess National By Laws can be viewed at www.tri-Ess.org/bylaws.htm or click here to view Tri Ess By Laws.
